Maurizio Giodice
Maurizio Giodice (Castellana Grotte 1988), graduated in architecture in 2013 at
Sapienza University in Rome, having spent six months in Barcelona at Polytechnic of Cataluña for the Erasmus program and two months in Copenhagen at KADK for the Master Thesis. After the Master degree he started the PhD research in the Engineering Faculty of Sapienza studying Responsive Surfaces based on Origami pattern tessellation, using parametric geometries and kinetic mechanism. Since 2015 he has been teaching Parametric Structural Design at the architectural faculty of Sapienza. After having worked in several Architecture Offices in Rome and participated in several national and international competitions, in 2015, with other two colleagues, he founded SYNAPSIS, an architectural office with which he won the second price of YAC Green Academy 2016 (www.synapsisoffice.com). |
